"There's never enough time to do all the nothing you want."
- Calvin and Hobbes comic strip
more than a year ago, a notebook was passed around in my (former)team: Things To Do Before I Die.. or something to that effect i.e. less morbid. we were on the morning shift; more petiks than work -- or, work was to make the most of the time doing nothing.
and so.
that checklist was passed around and we all had an unlimited page to fill of what things we'd like to do, to happen, to achieve. i dont remember everything i wrote but only that from then till now, there's nothing i can cross out. it has now become a list of things i'd like to do but will never get around to doing...
there's no time for it. constantly, i remind myself to find time to do things; have a sense of urgency. i keep forgetting -- when you make time, you'll never have to find it. it is always there, how and whenever you want.
let me roundup a list again and get to indomitably cross each one out; run with time and not chase it.
"Time", in Newton's own words (from Principia), “exists in and of itself and flows equably without reference to anything external.” But in the realm of relativity, the reality of time had to undergo a complete turnabout as Einstein’s Relativity showed that far from being a universal concept, time varies according to the observer, so that time will pass faster for the fellow traveling in space than it would for his identical twin sitting on the earth.
ergo given time is subjective, what then is the counter of life?
